The problem
In high-pressure, cross-functional environments, designers often face a disconnect between their performance-driven mindset and their workplace culture. Without authentic leadership, creative flow is stifled, leading to burnout and a lack of innovation. There was a need to bridge the gap between management styles and creative output to understand how leadership authenticity directly influences a team's ability to deliver breakthrough ideas and maintain long-term productivity.
The solution
I conducted a comprehensive research study titled How Authentic Leadership Impact Creatives' Success to investigate the relationship between authentic leadership and creative success. By gathering qualitative insights from designers, marketers, and copywriters, I developed a framework that provides actionable strategies for creatives, managers, and non-creatives alike. This research serves as a strategic roadmap for cultivating workplace environments where transparency and emotional support are recognized as primary drivers of innovation and business value.
